Summary

The Vice President of Engineering reports to the CTO or CEO and works closely with other functional leaders in the company, including those in finance, sales, and marketing. The VP of Engineering is responsible for all of the company’s product development activities. The responsibilities include developing strategic planning for and direction and control of product 
development activities. 
The VP of Engineering also provides technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for all product development.
