As a Business Technology Analyst, you’ll be part of a team using
technology to help transform companies around the world. Your role can
vary from defining a client’s needs, to mapping all the steps in a
solution, to developing its architectural blueprint. But that’s not
all. You also may find yourself managing the final process and system
deployment, and even training clients on its operation.
The Business Technology Analyst is typically an entry-level position for recent graduates of undergraduate programs entering the technology consulting field. Analysts are generally responsible for a lot of the "ground work" involved in a consulting assignment, rather than participating in high level planning and organization. It is generally assumed that someone will stay in this position for 1-2 years before being promoted or seeking their MBA.
